Charles IT, April 2025 to January 2026. I worked as a Desktop Support Specialist in a fellowship that pipelines into Jr. Systems Administrator. L1/L2 support for 7,500+ endpoints and users across healthcare, manufacturing, insurance and wealth management, with a personal CSAT above 99%. I triaged critical alerts, ran Active Directory and M365 administration, and handled regular technical audits for clients.

Security wraps everything else. I studied cybersecurity at the University of Connecticut, then used it on the job, remediating phishing attacks and compromised credentials with tools like Huntress and SentinelOne.

Mainframe Operations Analyst

The Cigna Group, January 2026 to present. A year-long rotation through Mainframe Infrastructure Engineering, across Operations, Technical Services and Automation. I handle LPAR and server health checks, incident management in ServiceNow and Jira, and batch support across multiple high-transaction sysplex environments.

Designing an LPAR

On a five-person team, I worked through what it takes to stand up a new LPAR and split workload across environments. We compared mirroring an existing LPAR with a barebones build, then took the tradeoffs and a recommendation to the infrastructure director.

Monitoring and Automation

The goal is a system that reports on itself and handles the routine work. I monitor with OMEGAMON and automate with NetView and System Automation for z/OS, and I'm learning where Grafana and Service Management Unite fit in.
